How to book

Advocreate has yet to receive charitable status and does not receive any additional funding for its activities. Therefore the current pricing policy is non-negotiable (except for 'Have your say!' and 'Projects') as the price does just cover core costs.

Workshop costs

All of the workshop sessions will include a break half way through for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Advocreate do not supply refreshments for any breaks or lunch.

The host organisation can decide how long they would like the session to last but please keep in mind the attention span of the group.Half day = 2-3 hours including a break half way through.

Full day = 4-6 hours including lunch and 2 breaks.

If it is for a group of people with a learning disability then please be aware that all of Advocreate’s workshops are aimed at those people with a mild/moderate learning disability.
The workshops are not applicable to those with a more severe or profound learning disability Choose one of the workshop packages from the workshop information section or provide a vague idea of a larger project.
Your group should be no larger than 12 people with learning disabilities with support from at least 3 support workers or a maximum of 16 carers.
Put together a list of potential dates that the workshops could take place on.

Find and book a suitable space, either a hall or a large room free from obstruction.

Projects

Advocreate are able to offer other tailor-made workshops and projects in negotiation with host organisations. These could include week- long holiday projects, weekly devising projects or work at conferences and for special events. One- off workshops could explore a theme pertinent to the participant’s lives or a story they may want to tell.
Please contact us with an initial idea, however loose it may be, and we will be more than willing to help develop a proposal if we feel we can and are able to fit it into our schedule.
